Learning Objective: Students will be able to use the verb eres and adjective agreement to describe a person directly to the person. 

Hoy repasamos el vocabulario de lunes.  Sra. Rivera mostró 2 ejemplos de la ultima clase, entonces los estudiantes chequearon los papeles por 2 cosas del objetivo:

1. el verbo eres
2. adjective agreement

Los estudiantes escribieron otra versión de los cuentos para un assessment de escribiendo.

-         mira directamente a ellos

-         usando un espejo (mirror)

-         usando las fotos

-         Busca los características de la personalidad no solo la cara y cuerpo.

Story tell to introduce house vocab

Emily quiere comprar algo. Ella quiere comprar un van, pero hay un problema.  Ella no tiene dinero.  Ella tiene que trabajar

Ella trabaja en la casa de la familia Smith.  Los Smiths son muy sucios!  Ella tiene que limpiar la cocina porque hay un elefante en la cocina.

Ella tiene que limpiar la sala porque hay un mono loco en la sala.

Ella tiene que limpiar el dormitorio porque hay dos lobos en el dormitorio.

Ella tiene que limpiar el bano porque hay una culebra en el bano.

Tarea: Students will draw a sketch of their own house/apartment and write a brief description of their own home. Review new house vocab and be ready for a speaking assessment using this vocabulary on Wednesday.

Story tell to introduce house vocab

Ella tiene un trabajo.  Ella tiene que limpiar la casa por la familia Smith.  Los Smiths son MUY sucios. Ella no le gusta su trabajo, pero ella necesita dinero.  Ella necesita dinero porque ella quiere comprar un carro nuevo.  Ella tiene que limpiar toda la casa. Ella tiene que limpiar la cocina. Ella tiene que limpiar la sala.  Ella tiene que limpiar el baño. Ella tiene que limpiar los dormitorios.

We read together pg 2 from the book Casi se muere.

Students will draw a picture of their own home and label the rooms in Spanish.  Then students will get in groups of 2-3 and describe to each other their own homes in Spanish.  

Exit ticket, students will write a brief description of their own home.

Tarea: review new house vocab and be ready for a speaking assessment using this vocabulary on Wednesday.
